Chloroxylenol is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, fungi and molds. It is stable in alkaline media and compatible with most anionic and non-ionic surfactants.
The product is supplied as a white crystalline solid with a mild phenolic odour and is approved for use in cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications.
