Emulsifying Wax

Emulsifying Wax is a reliable, self-emulsifying blend of cetostearyl alcohol and polysorbate 60 that creates stable oil-in-water emulsions without the need for additional co-emulsifiers or HLB calculations. It produces light, non-greasy creams and lotions that absorb quickly and resist separation over a wide temperature range.

The wax is easy to handle—simply melt into your oil phase and disperse into hot water phase under low shear. Finished products exhibit a silky, cushiony skin-feel and accept a broad range of actives, fragrances and preservatives.
